This is a 16 year old single malt from Craigellachie, matured in a first fill sherry butt and bottled for Long Valley Selection.
The nose shows clear sherry character, sweet with dark fruit. On the palate there are vanilla, sherry, caramel and light roasted notes. The finish is long and pleasantly warming, with agreeable wood notes.
