Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for 17 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has baked apples, honey and dried apricots, with a light trace of smoke. The palate is full-bodied, with spiced vanilla, ripe stone fruits, toffee and charred oak, plus hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering sweet fruit and earthy spice.
