Craigellachie – 19 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

This is a 19 year old Craigellachie single malt from Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. For most of the 20th century the distillery belonged to White Horse Distillers, which became part of DCL, now Diageo, in 1927. Its malt was important to their blends, so the first official distillery bottlings only appeared in the 1990s, in the Flora & Fauna and Rare Malts Selection series. Bacardi later took over the distillery with the John Dewar & Sons portfolio and relaunched it in 2014 as part of the Last Great Malts collection.
