Craigellachie – 1983 Small Batch 33 Year Old

This is a small batch 33 year old single malt from Craigellachie distillery in Speyside. It was distilled in 1983 and bottled in February 2017. For most of the 20th century the distillery belonged to White Horse Distillers, which became part of DCL in 1927, and its malt was important to their blends. The first official distillery bottlings did not appear until the 1990s. John Dewar & Sons, under Bacardi ownership, created the permanent Craigellachie range in 2014.
