Craigellachie – 1983 Small Batch 33 Year Old (70cl)

This is a 33 year old single malt from Craigellachie distillery in Speyside, released as a small batch of 1700 bottles in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1983 and bottled in February 2017. For most of the 20th century the distillery belonged to White Horse Distillers, and its malt went mainly into blends. The first official distillery bottlings appeared in the 1990s, in the Flora & Fauna and Rare Malt Selection series. John Dewar & Sons, under Bacardi, created the permanent Craigellachie range in 2014.
