This Craigellachie is a 13 year old Speyside single malt bottled by Thompson Bros at 50%. It was distilled on 18 May 2009 and bottled in October 2022, after maturing in a blend of two refill hogsheads. There are 628 bottles, with a label based on artwork by KMG Yeah.
The nose offers malt and fermentation notes, pineapple, pear, apple, barley sugar and a hint of serrano ham. The palate brings cured ham, dried barley, olive oil, pineapple and lime zest. The finish is of lime, almond purée, ginger tea and pineapple in syrup.
