This is an 11 year old Craigellachie single malt distilled in 2010, bottled by Càrn Mòr at 47.5%. It was finished in a PX sherry cask.
The nose is dark dried fruit, chocolate and cocoa with a little vanilla. On the palate come grape-and-nut chocolate, very ripe fruit and fine sultanas, with the wood of the sherry cask becoming clearer over time. Those dark, fruity sherry tones stay on the palate for a long while.
The finish is long, with fruity caramel notes, cocoa and old apricot jam.
