This Craigellachie is a ten-year-old Speyside single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage in its 100 Proof series, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 57.1%.
It was distilled in 2014 and bottled on 24 January 2025. The whisky matured in first-fill Pedro Ximenez hogsheads, second-fill Oloroso sherry butts and dechar/rechar hogsheads.
The nose is sweet and sharp, with fresh and dried fruit, kiwi, peach, apple and pear, plus nuts and a little chocolate. The palate is warming, with cooked fruit, raisins, vanilla, light spice and a touch of smoke. The finish is medium, with wood, sherry and grapes.
