This is a Craigellachie single malt distilled in 2014 and bottled by James Eadie in 2024, after ten years of ageing. It spent its last thirteen months in a refill European oak Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead.
It was bottled at a cask strength of 58.9% ABV, and 267 bottles were filled.
The nose brings cloves, cardamom, candied peel, orange zest, sultanas, pastries and black truffle. The palate is rich and fruity, with juicy apples and conference pears giving way to mango, raisins and quince jelly. The finish recalls café latte with crisp brandy snaps.
