Craigellachie Exceptional Cask Series 1994 is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 55.5% ABV.
The nose is fruity and tropical, with roasted pineapple, mango, kiwi and fruit cake, joined by manuka honey, cinnamon, old leather and beeswax. The palate is full, dense and oily, balancing raisins, toasted caramel and red apple against white pepper, nutmeg and a savoury, meaty note. The finish is long and warm, with toasted wood, dark chocolate, tobacco and a faint mineral or smoky background.
