Crissante Alessandria Galina Barolo DOCG

A Barolo DOCG from Crissante Alessandria, made from Nebbiolo grown in the Galina cru in Piedmont. It is deep garnet red with orange reflections. The nose brings ripe red fruit, faded flowers, spice, tobacco, leather and wet earth. On the palate it is powerful yet elegant, with fine, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, a rich body and a long, persistent finish with fruit, spice and a mineral note. It suits structured dishes such as red meat, game, truffle dishes and aged cheeses, and can also be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
