CRN57 12 Year Old Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is a twelve-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, composed by the Gordon & MacPhail blending team for The Cairn range. The name refers to the 57th parallel. The range was made from already matured malts, put together to give a first indication of the style The Cairn is aiming for with its own single malt. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. Juicy red apple, cinnamon, clove, orange marmalade and roasted walnut shape the nose. On the palate come raspberry, fresh apple, pepper and bitter chocolate orange, and the finish is fruity and spicy with fine oak.
