Crown Royal Blackberry Flavored Whisky is a flavoured Canadian whisky, made by infusing the brand's signature blend with ripe blackberry. It is bottled at 35% ABV in a 75cl bottle, and the Crown Royal distillery is in Gimli, Manitoba. The natural tannin in the fruit adds some structure and a slight tartness, so the sweetness is not the only note. It works over ice with lemonade or soda, and in summer cocktails. The nose is sweet, ripe blackberry over vanilla and caramel. The palate is juicy and lightly tart with a little rye spice, and the finish is sweet and clean, with blackberry and a gentle warmth.
