Crown Royal Golden Apple 23 Year Old is a Canadian whisky blend that pairs whiskies aged for 23 years with the taste of Golden Delicious apples.
Crown Royal's first blend was made from 50 selected whiskies to commemorate the 1939 tour of Canada by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. That bottle travelled on the royal train, and the brand has kept the purple and cut-glass styling associated with it since.
