Crown Royal Maple Finished (20cl, 40%)

Crown Royal Maple Finished is a Canadian blended whisky in a 200ml bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is the Crown Royal blend finished in maple-toasted oak barrels. The maple character comes from the toasted oak rather than from added syrup or extract. Crown Royal has blended whisky at Gimli, Manitoba, since 1939, using rye, corn and barley whiskies with limestone-filtered water from Lake Winnipeg. The nose is fresh maple with caramel and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth, with a light maple taste that is not syrupy. The finish is warm, woody and caramelised, and not too sweet.
