Crown Royal Regal Apple is a flavoured Canadian whisky, made by infusing the Crown Royal blended whisky base with Regal Gala Apple flavour. It comes in a 1.75 litre bottle at 35% ABV, lower than the 40% of the original Crown Royal.
The blend is drawn from component whiskies made at the Gimli distillery in Manitoba and aged in new or re-use charred oak barrels.
The nose is led by crisp green apple with light vanilla, oak and warm spice. On the palate a slightly tart, juicy apple gives way to caramel, cinnamon and nutmeg, with cream and walnut in the background. The finish is medium in length, with lingering apple sweetness, maple-like notes and light spice.
