Crown Royal Regal Apple is a flavoured Canadian whisky, made by infusing Crown Royal's Canadian blend with Regal Gala apples. It is bottled at 35% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The Regal Gala variety is sweet with a clean tartness, and the whisky keeps that balance rather than turning into a candy-apple sweetness. It can be served on the rocks or with ginger ale.
On the nose there is fresh Regal Gala apple with light caramel and a little rye spice. The palate is crisp apple sweetness moving into caramel with a light whisky backbone, and the finish is smooth, with apple tartness that lingers.
