Crown Royal Regal Apple is a flavoured Canadian whisky bottled at 35% in a 75cl bottle. It is made at the Crown Royal Distillery in Gimli, Manitoba, on the shores of Lake Winnipeg, from a base blend of rye, corn and barley whiskies.
Regal Gala apples are soaked and distilled, and the apple distillate is then blended into the whisky.
The nose is green apple with cinnamon, caramel and a touch of citrus. The palate is crisp and slightly tart, with cream, caramel, vanilla, walnut and maple syrup. The finish is smooth and moderately long, with apple sweetness, soft oak and gentle spice.
