Cutty Sark Centenary Edition is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 52.2% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers grated dark chocolate, baking spices, Black Forest gateau, freeze-dried strawberries and strawberry laces, with ginger, digestive biscuits leaning towards cheesecake, and a touch of sage and herbs. The palate is a fruit salad with tropical notes of kiwi and carambola, and a hint of grapefruit balanced by Mars bar caramel and nougat. The finish brings cocoa, caramel and a touch of coffee.
