Dad's Hat Rye Port Wine Finish is a rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47% ABV.
The rye is finished for a further three months in separate barrels that previously held port.
It has a dark, deep colour and a nose of rich florals, fruit and spice. Pepper comes forward first, then gives way to port fruit in the mid-palate with cinnamon and cloves. It coats the tongue and ends warm and well balanced, with black cherry.
