Second fill STR Pedro Ximenez barrique finish
This is an 11 year old single cask Dalmore, distilled in 2012 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 13.108. It is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, one of 192. The whisky spent nine years in ex-bourbon wood before moving into a second fill barrique that had been seasoned with Pedro Ximenez, for a finish. The nose is rich with sherry, sweetness and tart fruit, with dried pineapple, cherry fruitcake and charred pine. On the palate come blackcurrant fruit leathers, stewed plums and fig jam, and the finish is dry with root beer.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
