Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the highest distillery in Scotland. This bottling is 43% ABV and comes in a 1 litre bottle.
The nose is big, crisp, dry and very aromatic, with hints of heather and peat. The body is smooth and light to medium.
On the palate, heather-honey sweetness and vanilla give way to deeper citrus fruit and hints of malted bread. The finish is long and surprisingly intense, starting sweet before turning to smoke, peat and malt.
