This is an official Dalwhinnie bottling from The Distillers Edition series. It is a Highland single malt, distilled in 2002 and bottled on 14 August 2017 at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
After its first maturation the whisky was given a second one, finishing in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers honey, soft malt, apple, dried fruit and a light spiciness. The palate is round, with toffee, raisins, nuts and subtle sherry over a fresh Highland note. The finish is smooth and slightly spicy.
