This is the Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition, a Highland single malt distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2019. It is an official distillery bottling at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was double matured and finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers honey, soft malt, raisins, dried fruit and a hint of toffee. The palate is round, with honey, apple, nuts, sherry sweetness and light spice. The finish is medium to long and warm, with lingering sherry notes and soft oak.
