Dalwhinnie – 2006-2021 Distillers Edition (43%)

Dalwhinnie 2006-2021 Distillers Edition is a Highland single malt distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 at 43% ABV. It is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, which add dried fruit sweetness and spice to the distillery's gentle, honeyed spirit. It belongs to Diageo's Distillers Edition series, in which each whisky receives its own secondary maturation. The nose is heather honey, vanilla, dried apricots and sultanas. The palate is warming, with honeycomb, toffee, raisins and light citrus. The finish is medium, with honey, dried fruit and gentle oak spice.
