Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is a 15 year old Highland single malt from the 2003 vintage, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It is double matured, first in American and European oak and then in Oloroso sherry casks, giving a rich, sweetened character.
The nose combines Oloroso, malt, honey, light peat and heather. The palate opens spicy and malty before moving to sweet notes and fruit. The finish is dry, with oak and vanilla.
