Dalwhinnie – Distillers Edition Oloroso Seasoned American Oak Casks

Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is a vintage-dated Highland single malt, finished in sherry casks that were seasoned with oloroso in American oak. It comes from the highest and coldest working distillery in Scotland, which takes its water from a loch at 2000 feet. The nose brings sweet malt, cooked fruit, dried flowers and light smoke, with herbal and creamy, buttery touches. The palate is rounded, and the finish is long and warming, with wood and peppery spice.
