Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, a step that adds a layer of dried fruit to the distillery's house style.
It is usually described as showing honey and heather sweetness with raisin and dried fig, and a nutty, slightly spiced edge from the sherry cask. It is smooth rather than smoky, and a few drops of water open it up.
