Dalwhinnie – Distillers Edition (70cl, 43%)

This is a Dalwhinnie single malt in the Distillers Edition, a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. After its main maturation it spent at least three months in Oloroso sherry casks. The distillery stands at 326 metres, which makes it one of the highest in Scotland. Its Gaelic name means meeting place, and the village shares it. Four seals appear on each bottle: the distillery symbol with three thistles from its first trade mark, the founding year of 1898, the Oloroso sherry cask type, and the initials of the distillery manager responsible.
