Dalwhinnie The Distillers Edition 2022 Release is a Scottish single malt in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. Dalwhinnie has made its single malt since 1947, in a distillery set high between two mountain ranges.
The whisky was first matured in refill American and European oak casks. It was then finished in re-charred American oak seasoned with Oloroso sherry, with heavily re-charred new American oak ends. The Distillers Edition has been an annual limited release since 1997.
The Oloroso finish brings tropical notes to the malt.
