An official distillery bottling of Highland single malt from Dalwhinnie, bottled in 2022 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is double matured, with the second maturation in Oloroso-seasoned American oak casks.
The second maturation adds roundness and light sherry influence to the Dalwhinnie character.
The nose brings honey, soft malt, apple, vanilla and a hint of dried fruit. The palate is smooth and balanced, with toffee, light nuttiness, soft spices and a touch of sherry sweetness. The finish is medium-long, warm and elegant.
