Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is a Highland single malt from Dalwhinnie, one of Scotland's highest and coldest distilleries. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Part of the maturation takes place in casks exposed to low temperatures, alongside a selection of ex-bourbon and refill barrels. Honey, soft malt, vanilla and light spice show on the nose. The palate is creamy, with heather honey, apple and biscuit, and the finish is smooth and warming.
