Dalwhinnie – Winter's Gold (70cl, 43%)

Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled only from spirit made between October and March, during the Scottish winter. The worm tubs stand outdoors, and the cold copper is said to bring out the richer, deeper character of the whisky. It is golden in colour, with a soft, honeyed taste, hints of spice mingling with gentle heather, and a warming, lingering finish.
