Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold is a Highland single malt from the highest and coldest distillery in Scotland. It is an innovative Diageo bottling, in the same vein as the distillery's 15 year old. The nose is floral and honeyed, with a hint of peat and green fruit such as apples and fresh pear. On the palate it is soft, with slightly warming honeyed fruit. The finish has a soothing texture, with light floral notes, soft fruits and a touch of spice.
