After ageing, the bourbon is finished with toasted Mizunara oak staves. Mizunara is a Japanese oak, associated with sandalwood, sweet spice and floral notes.
The nose offers sandalwood, vanilla and subtle floral touches. On the palate, rich caramel and toasted oak sit alongside sweet spices and a delicate hint of tropical fruit. The finish is long and complex, with lingering sandalwood and a gentle spice.
