This is a Devon whisky from Dartmoor Distillery, matured in bourbon casks. It is made in a Cognac still using barley grown at Preston Farm on Dartmoor and malted at Warminster Maltings.
The bourbon casks give the whisky a golden colour and a soft, fruity sweetness.
The nose brings vanilla. On the palate there is toffee, crème brûlée and marshmallow, and the whisky is very sweet, almost honeyed.
