Daviess County Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Lux Row Distillers of Bardstown, in a 750ml bottle at 48% ABV. Head distiller John Rempe built it from two bourbon mash bills blended together, one wheated and one with rye, with no secondary finish.
The Daviess County name dates back to 1874 and was relaunched by Lux Row in February 2020. This is the straightforward bottling of the range, made from corn, wheat, rye and malt.
Honey, vanilla and caramel run through both the nose and the palate, and the finish is long, warm and sweet with a hint of spice.
