Rebel 10 Year Single Barrel is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown. The mashbill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged ten years in new charred American oak.
Each bottle comes from a single barrel and shows its own barrel number and fill date. It is bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is vanilla, dark fruits, citrus, oak and buttery caramel, with coffee cake and honey. The palate is round and velvety, with caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest and a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is smooth, with caramel, tobacco and gentle rye spice.
