Ezra Brooks Distiller's Collection Single Barrel Straight Bourbon is a single barrel bourbon selected in collaboration with Vintage Wine & Spirits, part of the Luxco portfolio. It was distilled by Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, using the sour mash method.
The barrel was filled on 15 March 2018 and the bourbon has matured for around five years. It is bottled at 53.5% ABV and has a light mahogany to medium honey colour.
The nose brings freshly baked brioche, sour wheat, honey, vanilla, a hint of char and a touch of pickled pepper. On the palate, soft wheat and black pepper lead to caramel corn and chocolate, with oak beneath and brioche bread at the close.
