Deanston 10 Year Old Bordeaux Cask is a Highland single malt from the Deanston distillery on the River Teith. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
After ten years of maturation, the whisky is finished in Bordeaux red wine casks, which give it its character. It is not smoky.
The nose offers dark berries and cherries with soft vanilla and malt. The palate is velvety, with red fruit, fine spice and a pleasant sweetness. The finish is long and soft, with a touch of oak and fruity freshness.
