Deanston – 14 Year Old 2012 Unicorn (57.3%)

A single cask Highland single malt from Deanston, bottled as part of the Unicorn Series. It was distilled in 2012, matured for 14 years in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and bottled in July 2026 at a natural cask strength of 57.3%, giving 266 bottles. It is non-chill filtered, with no added colour. The label shows a unicorn in the Deanston still house, joined by inquisitive monkeys and a giraffe, a nod to the nearby Blair Drummond Safari Park. The Pedro Ximénez cask is described as bringing raisins, dates, dark chocolate and treacle, alongside honey, sweet malt, orchard fruits and warming spice.
