This is an organic single malt from Deanston, a Highland distillery, aged for 15 years and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has scones and brown bread, with a hint of vanilla essence at the core and freshly cut grass after it. The palate is fruitier than the nose suggests, with apple, pear and white grapes, while staying grassy and a little oily in places. The finish is white pepper and cedar.
