This Deanston 18 Years Old is a limited release Highland single malt Scotch whisky, finished in bourbon casks. It is un-chill filtered and bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
On the nose there are light fruit, herbs, floral notes, honey and nuts, with some malt and light grain. The palate begins slightly sweet, with light fruit, florals, herbs and a little honey, then returns to light malt and grain.
The finish is sweet and slightly nutty with light fruit, fairly short, and ends with a hint of milk chocolate.
