Deanston 18 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a pale lemon gold in the glass.
The nose is fairly aromatic, with balanced American oak notes alongside floral, malty and grassy tones, vanilla and honey, and touches of tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is sweet and spiced, with citrus, barley sugar, gingerbread, Manuka honey and white pepper.
The finish is dry and peppery, with a warm, honeyed tail of ginger.
