This is a 34 year old Deanston single malt from the Rare Find range by Glean Mor Spirits. It was distilled in 1991 and matured in a second fill Pedro Ximenez sherry butt before bottling in 2026. Bottle 70 of 72 is a 70cl bottle at 48.8% ABV.
The bottler's notes describe a nose of lacquered mahogany, stewed plum and Christmas pudding, with roasted almonds, berry compote and a wisp of mint. The palate offers fruit cake, polished wood, tobacco, leather and raspberry liqueur, lifted by cinnamon spice. The finish brings refined oak, stewed fruits and malt loaf.
