Deanston Chronicles Edition 4 - 60th Anniversary Edition (70cl, 47.8%)

This is a Highland single malt made for the 60th anniversary of Deanston, which was founded in 1966. Master blender Julieann Fernandez combined six casks from six different decades: an Oloroso sherry cask from 1975, a refill cask from 1980, a virgin oak cask from 1991, an Armagnac cask from 2006, a Cadillac wine cask from 2013 and a Burgundy cask from 2020. A Port Lágrima finish completes the blend. It is bottled at 47.8% in a 70cl bottle. On the palate come dried fruit, honey, red berries, vanilla and soft oak, with the waxy texture typical of Deanston. The finish is long, soft and complex.
