Deanston – Tequila Cask 15 Year Old

This is a limited 15 year old Highland single malt from Deanston, matured in two stages. It spent 13 years in oak hogsheads, then a further two years in casks that previously held agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. Deanston is unpeated, and this bottling is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with a pale golden hue. It is described as fruity and floral, with warm, sweet notes from the agave and the waxy citrus character of the distillery.
