Deanston Virgin Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in new oak. The new oak brings a zesty character and added complexity to a whisky that is pale gold in colour.
The nose is sweet barley, caramel and citrus. On the palate it is dry, with citrus peel, lemon, crisp apple and vanilla spice, leading to a long, honeyed finish.
