Deanston Virgin Oak is a Highland single malt from Deanston Distillery, finished in virgin oak and bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The finish adds vanilla, caramel, honey and warm spice to the waxy, malty house style of the distillery.
The nose is honey, candied orange, orange oil, creamy vanilla and caramel. On the palate there is candied fruit, vanilla toffee, heather honey and sweet oak spice. The finish is lightly spiced, with honey malt and sweet oak.
