Deanston Virgin Oak is a hand-crafted Scotch single malt, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is first matured in ex-bourbon casks from a family-run cooperage in Kentucky, which give it a subtle but zesty character.
The golden spirit is then finished in virgin oak casks, adding subtle spicy aromas. It is described as sitting between premium bourbons and non-age-statement Scotch whiskies, offering a link from bourbon to Scotch in both flavour and price.
